摘要 PURPOSE: A method for controlling the stability of a vehicle is provided to improve the approaching speed of a vehicle by controlling the braking amount of an outside wheel, which turns, in ESC(Electronic Stability Control) control. CONSTITUTION: Each wheel speed, steering angle, horizontal acceleration, yaw rate, and a throttle position are detected(100). The speed of a vehicle is measured from each wheel speed(110). The yaw rate that an operator wants is measured from the steering angle and the horizontal acceleration(120). A target rate is calculated from a detected yaw rate and the yaw rate that the operator wants(130). The state of the road surface of the vehicle is detected from determined horizontal acceleration(140). Bigger braking power than that of a normal mode is offered to an outside wheel, which turns, in a ESC(Electronic Stability Control) evaluation mode(160).
