PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems with error loss detection and parallel processing generated by coupling between frame_num and Picture Order Count between views in multi-view encoding.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises an encoder for encoding at least one picture corresponding to at least one of at least two views of multi-view video content to form a resultant bitstream. In the resultant bitstream, at least one of encoding order information and output order information for at least one picture is decoupled from at least one view to which at least one picture corresponds. The encoder uses a view identifier to decouple at least one of the encoding order information and the output order information for at least one picture. |
