PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal branching device capable of constructing a ROADM system whose scalability is high and which has a CDC function.SOLUTION: A plurality of output units 31 each have a first output port and a second output port and, after accepting input wavelength optical signals, output the wavelength optical signals from each output port. A switching unit 32 outputs each wavelength optical signal output from the first output port of each output unit 31 to different optical paths. Each output unit 31, which correspond to each of a plurality of routes via which wavelength multiplexed optical signals are transmitted, receive a wavelength optical signal included in a wavelength multiplexed optical signal transmitted via the corresponding route and a wavelength optical signal output from the second output port of the other output unit, and output each of the wavelength optical signals from either of the first output port and the second output port on the basis of the wavelength of each of the wavelength optical signals. |
