The method involves heating a substrate to be measured by a linear heat source (12) in an impulsive manner. A temperature difference is measured between a temperature, which is assigned a distance from the heat source, and an outlet temperature depending on the time. Another temperature difference is measured between another temperature at a distance from the heat source, and an outlet temperature depending on the time.
