<p>The proximity switch and dimmer circuit has a first sensor to regulate the brightness of the load lamp and a second sensor to switch the lamp off and on at any brightness setting. The switch and dimmer circuit contains a digital memory and a gate network. The memory's output is coupled to a D/A converter to generate the control voltage for the trigger circuit of the electronic load switch, e.g. triac or thyristor. This trigger circuit is blocked by the first sensor. The second sensor controls the state of the memory.</p> |
