<p>A thermostatic arrangement is for a cooling system, esp. in an i.c. engine of a motor vehicle. A closing cap for the cooling system and a thermo-sensor controlled valve are provided. Facilities for deaeration of the system when topping up with coolant, or for rapid demounting of the system for maintenance. The valve is attached to the cap (2). When the cap is in position on the filling tube (1) the cap forms an upper seating for the valve, which comprises a housing (4) with a valve seat (5) against which the valve element (6) is forced by a spring (7). The valve controls the admittance of coolant below a preset temp.</p> |
