PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter controller, an inverter and an electric vehicle that guarantee safety.SOLUTION: An inverter controller comprises: an amplitude phase setting section 36X for outputting current amplitude and one current phase of a first current phase corresponding to a torque command and a second current phase corresponding to output torque that is lower than a value of the torque command and has the same sign or zero output torque in response to the torque command received; a current control section 36C for outputting a voltage command from current amplitude, a current phase, a current supplied to a motor 10 and a position and orientation of a rotor 12; a magnetic pole position determination section 36E that outputs a magnetic pole position determination command to the current control section 36C, receives the current supplied to the motor 10 by the magnetic pole position determination command and determines the position of the rotor 12; and a magnetic pole orientation determination section 36F that outputs a magnetic pole orientation determination command to the current control section 36C, receives the current supplied to the motor 10 by the magnetic pole orientation determination command and determines orientation of a magnetic pole of the rotor 12. |
