A spatial information system connected to a moving picture recording device and an operating method for the spatial information system are disclosed. An embodiment of the present invention relates to the operating method of the spatial information system comprising: a step : receiving a moving picture file and a GPX file; a step of outputting a map including a point based on the GPX file; a step of outputting a path mark on the map corresponding to the moving picture output by executing the moving picture file; a step of receiving moving input for the reproducing point of the moving picture; a step of executing first synchronization for the path mark and the moving picture in response to the moving input; and a step of controlling the output point of the path mark according to the first synchronization by connecting to the reproducing point of the moving picture according to the moving input.
