The bogie (10) has axle structures (16) supported by an articulated chassis (24) via one of primary suspension devices (26). Each suspension device has a longitudinally extending arm integrally joined with an axle box (18) associated with each wheel (14). The arm is articulated about a pivot connection with the chassis. A primary helical spring for each arm extends between seats on the arm and on one of side rails (28) of the chassis.
