PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend the life of a cylindrical member used in a fixing device.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises a cylindrical member (fixing belt 110) having flexibility, a first fixing member arranged inside the cylindrical member, a second fixing member that holds the cylindrical member with the first fixing member, and regulating surfaces 311A and 321A opposing to an end face of the cylindrical member. The fixing device further includes a pair of end face regulating members 300 that regulate a position in an axial direction of the cylindrical member by the end face of the cylindrical member contacting the regulation surfaces 311A and 321A. The fixing device, in a state after shipping, lubricant G is applied in a stripe shape on the regulating surface 311A and 321A continuously across a circumferential direction of the end face of the cylindrical member. |
