PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a process of cutting an article rod, for example, a filter rod in a tobacco processing industrial machine, in particular a filter attaching machine or a filter forming device, into short filter rod segments on a transfer mechanism, and improve variability for cutting.SOLUTION: A cutter shaft includes at least one of cutters 28.1 and 128.1. The cutters 28.1 and 128.1 are disposed in a transfer mechanism 10 for cutting a rod-shaped article into a plurality of article rod segments, respectively. In a cutting device 1, a cutter shaft can be separated from or combined with a driving device provided for the cutter shaft. |
