PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity joint for allowing accurate measurement of a joint angle of the constant velocity joint actually mounted on a vehicle to actualize the optimum design of the constant velocity joint.SOLUTION: A constant velocity joint 100 includes a joint angle measurement device 200 which includes an annular contact member 70 fixed to the outer peripheral face of an outside joint member 20, and a housing 80 bowl-shaped with an opening at one end, and having a bottom fixed to a shaft 60 and the opening arranged outside the outside joint member 20, the housing 80 including a plurality of variable resistance members 90 arranged along an inner peripheral face 85 spherically recessed around a joint center O in angle-different radial directions, and band-shaped extending in the axial directions, and further including an electric circuit constructed with the variable resistance member 90 and the contact member 70 contacting each other to produce an output proportional to a contact position, and a computing device for calculating a joint angle &thetas; between the outside joint member 20 and an inside joint member 30 on the basis of the output. |
