The present invention relates to a control device for a linear motion device and a control method for the same in which accurate position control of the linear motion device has been made possible even when offsets in mounting positions of magnetic sensors and variations in magnetization arise, or when a magnetic field detected by magnetic sensors is interfered with by a magnetic field caused by drive coils for the linear motion device. To avoid effects on a magnetic sensor (21) by a leak magnetic field caused by a drive coil, a calibration calculation circuit (24) has time to stop conduction of electricity to the drive coils directly before acquiring a detected magnetic field. On the basis of a detected position signal value (Vip), a detected position calculation signal value (VPROC) is obtained from a first position signal value (NEGCAL) corresponding to a home position for a linear motion device (31) and a second position signal value (POSCAL) corresponding to a full position. A leak magnetic field correction circuit (34) is connected to a device position instruction generating circuit (26), and detection errors by the magnetic field sensor because of the leak magnetic field of a drive coil (29) are corrected. |
