The disclosed technology relates to an electricity consumption control system and an electricity consumption control method which includes: a step in which a control module monitors electricity consumption; a step in which the control module determines whether the electricity consumption exceeds a threshold or not by using at least one between a predetermined first threshold and a predetermined second threshold; a step in which the control module transmits a first off signal to a regulation module if the electricity consumption exceeds the first threshold value and the control module transmits a second off signal to the regulation module if the electricity consumption exceeds the second threshold value; and a step in which the regulation module turns off at least one of multiple switches according to the first or second off signals. Therefore, the present invention decreases wasted electricity consumption while minimally influencing a device or equipment, which is being used, by differentially turning off a part of the switches.
