PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by allowing a client to receive a printed matter whose poxy printing is requested by the client and allowing the client to pay for a print charge/accounting.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a reception section 121 that receives object document data, a proxy print request instruction, a designation of a proxy, and print data including a user ID of a client, from the client; an ID generation section 123 for generating a proxy print ID; an information management section 124 that stores a proxy print management table in which the object document data, the user ID of the client, and the proxy print ID are associated; a transmission section 125 that transmits a proxy print request instruction and the proxy print ID to the proxy; the reception section 121 that receives the proxy print ID and a proxy print execution instruction from the client; an authentication section 126 that authenticates the received proxy print ID and the proxy print ID associated with the proxy print management table; and a print section 130 that, when the authentication is succeeded, prints the object document data as the print by the instruction of the client. |
