PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an index value which reflects accurately a left ventricular end-diastolic pressure.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic device according to an embodiment includes an image acquisition unit, a volume-information calculation unit, a wall-motion-information calculation unit, a unit for calculating rate of change over time, an extreme-value detection unit and an index-value calculation unit. The image acquisition unit acquires an ultrasonic-image-data group including a left ventricle. The volume-information calculation unit calculates chronological data of volume information on the left ventricle from the ultrasonic-image-data group, while the wall-motion-information calculation unit calculates chronological data of the wall-motion information of the left ventricle. The unit for calculating the rate of change over time calculates chronological data (first chronological data) of the rate of change over time in the volume information and chronological data (second chronological data) of the rate of change over time in the wall-motion information. The extreme-value detection unit detects extreme values (first extreme value and second extreme value) in an early diastole of the first chronological data and the second chronological data, while the index-value calculation unit calculates an index value, using the first extreme value and the second extreme value. |
