PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device which can easily conveying a sheet and is excellent on handleability of the sheet, and a sheet conveying article for storing the sheet in the sheet conveying device. SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device includes a storage body 10 for storing the sheet, and shoulder straps 12 arranged on the storage body 10. The storage body 10 has a back section 14, and width control sections 16 arranged on the back section 14 so as to form an opening from both ends of the back section 14 in a width direction toward the inside. One outer surface of the back section 14 of the storage body 10 folded back in a longitudinal direction of the storage body so as to involve the width control sections 16 is set up to be a surface 20 for being carried on the back, and the shoulder straps 12 are arranged on the surface 20 for being carried on the back so as to position a folding-back section 22 of the storage body 10 is positioned upward.
