PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a splice part protection member capable of protection of a splice part with relatively easy way.SOLUTION: A splice part protection member comprises: a plurality of paired rib members 1 extending along a surface of a sheet part 20 in a longitudinal direction including housing spaces with opening parts 13 at both ends thereof. The paired rib members 1 include one rib part 11 and the other rib part 12, and both of rib parts are made of elastic rubber having a prescribed thickness so that an upper portion of the housing space can be opened by external force. That is, when external force is not applied on the paired members 1, the housing space is in a closed status. When a splice housed portion 3 of a wiring bundle 40 with a splice part is inserted into the housing space from the upper side of the surface of the sheet part, the upper portion of the housing space remaining in an opened status so that the splice housed portion 3 can be inserted and disposed in the housing space.
