PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a stator and a stator which can improve a performance of a rotary electric machine by using a compression stress generated during shrink-fitting.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a stator 10 fixed to inside of a cylindrical frame F by shrink-fitting comprises: a process A in which a frame F and an electromagnetic steel plate M rolled to be a prescribed board thickness are prepared; a process B including a step Bin which a core sheet Shaving a prescribed shape is formed from the electromagnetic steel plate M, and a step Bin which a stator core 11 is formed by matching a rolling direction of the electromagnetic steel plates M and laminating the plurality of core sheets S, which forms the stator 10 with the stator core 11; and a process C in which the stator 10 is fixed to inside of the frame F by shrink-fitting. An inner periphery of the frame F is circular before shrink-fitting, and an outer periphery of the stator core 11 before shrink-fitting is elliptic when the rolling direction of the electromagnetic steel plate M is made to be a minor axis. |
