PURPOSE: A metal payment card and a manufacturing method are provided to form an integrated circuit (IC) chip module in the metal payment card, thereby maintaining a metal texture and a color feature and improving functionality and security properties. CONSTITUTION: A first plate (100) is made of a metal material. A second plate (120) is inserted into the central unit of the first plate and includes an IC chip (140) and a loop antenna. The IC chip and the loop antenna are separated by a predetermined distance from the first plate. The predetermined distance is determined based on the intervals of wires forming the loop antenna, an area of the loop antenna, and winding times of the loop antenna. The first plate is formed with titanium, stainless, aluminum, or an amorphous alloy material. |
