PURPOSE: A mobile content providing method and a local caching device for the same are provided to continuously deliver content even in a handover of a mobile node through a connection between an internet network and a mobile network. CONSTITUTION: A first interface unit (510) is connected to an internet network. The first interface unit transmits and receives data through the internet network. A second interface unit (520) is connected to a mobile network. The second interface unit transmits and receives data through the mobile network. A control unit (530) receives a content request message of a mobile node about content which is stored in a storage unit from the mobile network. The control unit transmits data of requested content to the mobile node through the mobile network.
