PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent useless lighting of an illumination device in an illumination area where lighting of the illumination device is unnecessary. SOLUTION: As for an illumination control part 20 of the illumination device 2, in a state that a lamp 22 is lighted at high brightness, when a human-sensitive sensor 3 detects presence of a human, a lighting state of the lamp 22 is retained against an illumination fixture 21, and when the human-sensitive sensor 3 detects absence of a human, the lamp 22 is lighted off against the illumination fixture 21. On the other hand, as for the illumination control part 20, in a state that the lamp 22 is lighted off, regardless of a detecting signal received from the human-sensitive sensor 3, only when a command signal is received from a signal input part 40, the lamp 22 is lighted on at high brightness against the illumination fixture 21.
