PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress an optical member arranged on a light-emitting surface of a light guide plate from bending by heat from a light source.SOLUTION: A backlight device 24 includes a light guide plate 20 which has a chassis 22, a light incident surface 20a, a light emitting surface 20b, an opposite plate surface 20c on the opposite side to the light emitting surface 20b and in which the opposite plate surface 20c is arranged separated from a bottom plate 22a, an LED 28, an optical member 18 arranged separated from the light emitting surface 20b, an LED substrate 30, a heat radiation member 36 which has a bottom part 36a that is separated from the opposite plate surface 20c on the opposite plate surface 20c side and extends in a plate shape to be exposed to the outside, and of which tip is installed on the end part of the bottom plate 22a, and a rising part 36b rising from the bottom part 36a, and has a heat radiation performance, and a first support member 38 which has a heat radiation performance and supports the light guide plate 20 as at least a part is arranged between the bottom part 36a and the end part on the light incident surface 20a side of the opposite plate surface 20c. |
