<p>Disclosed is an internal pull-to-break type buffer device for a rail vehicle, comprising a buffer connected to a vehicle hook, a mounting seat (4) connected to the vehicle body and a rotatory shaft (3) connecting the buffer with the mounting seat (4). Both the surface of the rotatory shaft (3) and the top and bottom surfaces of a buffer housing (1) are provided with a step structure, the step structures cooperating with each other to transfer longitudinal tractive forces. A pull-to-break type overload protection element (6) is provided between the step structures and connects the two together. A mounting interface is identical to those in existing hook buffer devices for rail vehicles, and needs no interface adapting device such as a mounting adapter. The vehicle body structure of the rail vehicle needs not to be modified while improving the functionality of overload protection, reducing difficulty in technical implementation. As compared with existing shearing type elements, the overload triggering is more stable, and failures will not easily occur. Since a pull-to-break action for overload protection occurs inside the buffer device, the space needed for the hook buffer device to return backwards is greatly reduced, difficulty in design of the underframe of the vehicle is thus reduced, and the strength of the underframe of the vehicle body is thus increased.</p> |
