PURPOSE: A polymer composite electrolyte is provided to improve ion conductivity and mechanical strength by using graphene and graphene nanosheet as a filler material. CONSTITUTION: A polymer composite electrolyte comprises a polymer matrix and a functionalized graphene by accepting a functional group. The functionalized graphene is dispersed into the polymer matrix by an ion conductive filler. The graphene consists of a monolayer or a multilayer. A functional group introduced in the graphene is selected from a hydroxy group, a carboxy group, a sulfone group, and a phosphoric acid group. The size of the graphene is 0.01-10 micron. The content of the functionalized graphene in the polymer matrix is 1-40 wt%. |
