COLOR FADABLE ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC TONER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color fadable electrophotographic toner and a manufacturing method of the toner which increases visibility after fading and prevents the printed information before fading from being recognized or restored after fading.SOLUTION: A binder resin, a near-infrared ray absorbing dye, and a discoloring agent are mixed; and the mixture obtained by the mixing is fused and kneaded. During mixing and/or fusing and kneading the binder resin, the near-infrared ray absorbing dye and the discoloring agent, resin particles having an average particle diameter of 0.3 μm or more and 10 μm or less are added to the mixture.
