When the individual is identified entering the problem state, the state is broken. The individual is requested to engage in a first visualization of an unrelated event while in a dissociated state, a second visualization of the traumatic event while in a dissociated state and third visualization of the traumatic event while in an associated state but wherein the event is played in reverse. |
