<p>The device (1) has a sensor tip (3) connected to a partial rotationally symmetric housing (2) in an axial direction. The sensor tip comprises a plastic sheathing surrounding a measuring electrode. The plastic sheathing comprises a circulating projection increasing diameter of the sensor tip. The housing comprises an axially aligned claw-like projection at an outer edge of a contact surface with the sheathing of the sensor tip. The claw-like projection contacts the plastic sheathing in a quasi linear region for establishing sealed connection between the housing and the tip. The circulating projection is formed as a springy support. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for capacitive measurement of a level of a medium.</p>
