PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide user-friendly long-length medical instrument.SOLUTION: A catheter 1 includes a long-length body portion (tubular body) 10 having a coil layer 11 formed of a plurality of coils 111-114 disposed at different positions in the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1 and an outer layer 12 for covering the plurality of coils 111-114. The coil layer 11 extends along the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1. The plurality of coils 111-114 are disposed in such a way that the axial direction thereof is along the longitudinal direction of the catheter 1. In the plurality of coils 111-114, a pair of coils (coils 111 and 112, for instance) with winding directions of winding wires different from each other are included, and of the pair of coils, an end part of one coil and an end part of the other coil are connected. |
