Method of Sharing Content and Mobile Terminal

A method of sharing data stored in a mobile terminal and a mobile terminal comprising a sensing unit, a display unit and a controller arranged to implement the method are provided. The method includes sensing a first user gesture requesting a share panel, and causing the share panel including a list of identification information of one or more external devices to appear from a side of a screen and then displaying the share panel at the side of the screen in response to the first user gesture requesting the share panel.
