The present invention refers to a filtration device with oscillating pressure, pertaining to processes of separation by membranes; one of the applications of the system is to recover the high quality level of water, free of bacteria, virus and micromolecules, but having the substantial limitation that the membrane uses excessive energy to fight the resistance exerted by the water flow and the facility with which the membrane becomes dirty by the accumulation of deposits. The present invention modifies the conventional methodology of operation by incorporating a device that is intended to oscillate the pressure of the system, this action inducing changes in the flow patterns that contribute to the dispersion of the solids accumulated in the proximity of the membrane. In such a manner, the minimum pressure requirements of the system are maintained by longer periods of time and the useful life of the membrane is extended.
