PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device using a plastic substrate as a constructional member.SOLUTION: A first substrate SUB1 and a second substrate SUB2 are used as glass substrates, and a first etching stopper layer and a second etching stopper layer HFFS2 are formed in this order on these substrates. A film transistor TFT and a color filter CF are formed on the second etching stopper layer HFFS2, and a liquid crystal layer LC is sealed between the two substrates. Both glass substrates of the first substrate SUB1 and the second substrate SUB2 and the first etching stopper layer are removed by etching, and plastic substrate F-SUB1 and F-SUB2 are stuck with an adhesive. |
