PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover for a ball joint, configured to prevent a membrane part from being abnormally deformed, even if the membrane is twisted by oscillation, when rigidity of the membrane part of the dust cover is low.SOLUTION: In a dust cover for a ball joint made of an elastic material, a ball head part formed at one end of a ball stud is held in a socket, a shaft at the other end of the ball stud is fastened and fixed to a knuckle, a large-diameter opening at one end is arranged in an annular groove part which is formed on the top surface of the socket, and a small-diameter opening at the other end is held by the shaft. An annular protrusion is formed in a part in contact with the annular groove part of the large-diameter opening. The large-diameter opening is held slidably with respect to the annular groove part. A flange part elongated radially inward from the inner peripheral surface side of the annular groove part is provided as a come-off prevention means for preventing the large-diameter opening from coming off from the annular groove part. |
