PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a control method thereof are provided to efficiently manage resources for providing a wireless signal transceived through a multi RF(Radio Frequency) path. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communication unit(210) performs wireless communication through a plurality of RF paths connected with a plurality of antennas. A memory(250) stores setting information of applications interlinked with the wireless communication unit. When one or more of the applications are executed, a control unit(230) controls the activation of each RF path based on the setting information. The wireless communication unit includes a plurality of RF blocks. The RF blocks process wireless RF signals allocated to each RF path.
