PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wash reverse osmosis membranes of a seawater desalination apparatus by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A seawater desalination apparatus 100 for removing salt from seawater to take out fresh water includes a hydraulic pump 1 for sucking and discharging seawater, a reverse osmosis membrane 5 removing salt at the time of passage of a part of the compressed seawater discharged from the hydraulic pump 1 to desalt the seawater, a transmitted water tank 9 where desalted transmitted water from the reverse osmosis membrane 5 is stored, and a flow rate control valve 11 capable of adjusting the pressure of the compressed seawater discharged from the hydraulic pump 1 to a pressure capable of passing the compressed seawater through the reverse osmosis membrane 5 or below. |
