A hammock, suspended from a frame 10 having an awning 12 and comprising cushions 13, a hinged back-rest 14 and arm-rests 18, has attached to the back 14 a waterproof sheet which drapes as at 20 when the back-rest and arm-rests are folded down on to the cushions 13 to protect the cushions &c. against rain. The back 14 is humped to assist drainage and the arm-rests 18 also carry waterproof coverings 21. In a modification, the back-rest is slidable forward when folded. |
