PURPOSE: A routing apparatus, transmission route setting method, and table management method thereof are provided to set a transmission route of a service packet based on acquired information by acquiring a pheromone of artificial ants according to each neighbor node-destination. CONSTITUTION: A logic unit(100) includes a delay statistics model(102), a traffic concentration model(104), and a pheromone table(106). The delay statistics model stores the statistics value of delay quality calculated on the basis of information collected by artificial ants applied to a network. The pheromone table stores pheromone values for neighbor nodes on the basis of the collected information. An update unit(110) updates the delay statistics model and the pheromone table using the information included in the artificial ants.
