PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple production method for a polymer composition, capable of simply providing moldings excellent in reinforcement, light in weight and further small in the environmental load, and to provide a production method for an additive for polymer compositions, usable for production of such polymer compositions.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method for a polymer composition, which method comprises: heating a water-containing mixture comprising an aqueous dispersion of cellulose fiber having a 2-1,000 nm average fiber diameter and 0.1-1,000 μm average fiber length, a softening agent and/or a plasticizer and a surfactant; removing the water in the water-containing mixture so as to obtain a dried mixture; and then adding the obtained dried mixture to a base polymer. |
