PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate thinned-out lighting by supplying a current appropriately only to a point where a light source lamp is connected.SOLUTION: The light source lighting device includes a conversion unit which converts an AC voltage input from an external power supply and outputs a DC voltage, a light source power supply unit which transforms the DC voltage output from the conversion unit by receiving the control and supplies a DC power for light source, a plurality of light source connections which can connect a light source lamp being lighted with the DC power for light source output from the light source power supply unit, and a control unit which determines as to whether or not the light source lamp is connected with the light source connection, and when the number of light source lamps determined to be connected is smaller than the plurality of light source connections, performs thinned-out control for not supplying the DC power for light source to the light source connections determined not connected with the light source lamp. |
