The connector has a trough element (101) for accommodating an electrical line section, and a fluid substance (103) i.e. silicon, formed in the trough element and provided for partially enclosing an end of the line section. A conducting mandrel (105) is driven by an electrical conductor for manufacturing electrical contact between the connector and the conductor. A covering element is connected with the trough element by a locking connection or a form-fit connection, where the line section is pressed against the conducting mandrel during connection of the covering and trough elements. An independent claim is also included for a method for electrically conducting a conductor of an electrical line section.
