Provided is a stacked actuator including a stacked body in which an electrostrictive material is wound and stacked in a cylindrical shape along with first and second electrodes sandwiching the electrostrictive material therebetween and having a high volume efficiency and a high reliability. In the stacked actuator including a stacked body in which an electrostrictive material is wound and stacked in a cylindrical shape along with first and second electrodes sandwiching the electrostrictive material therebetween, the cylindrical stacked body (10) has a pair of flat portions (11a, 11b) facing each other and a pair of curved portions (13a, 13b) connecting the pair of flat portions to each other in a round shape and specifying spaces (15a, 15b) inside the curved portions. In an axis-perpendicular cross-section of the stacked body (10), the external width (W1) formed by the pair of flat portions (11a, 11b) is smaller than the external width (W2) of each of the curved portions and the distance (d) between the pair of flat portions is smaller than the internal width (W3) of each of the curved portions. |
