<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press fitting nut which can be attached by press fitting to a panel easily, and has high pushing strength. <P>SOLUTION: A press fitting nut (10) attached to an attaching hole (31) of a panel (30) includes a nut body (11) in which a female screw is formed, having a through-hole (18) along the center axis of the press fitting nut, and a nut fixing portion (12) for fixing to the attaching hole of the panel, being formed in one side of the body. The nut fixing portion has a step portion (14) having an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the attaching hole of the panel, being adjacent to the body, a groove portion (15) having the outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the attaching hole of the panel, being adjacent to the step portion, and an insertion portion (16) of a truncated cone shape the upper end of which has the diameter larger the inner diameter of the attaching hole of the panel, the lower end of which has the outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the attaching hole of the panel, wherein in the insertion portion, a thread (21) of which the ridge line is inclined to the center axis is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
