<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which prevents a control variable on dispensed balls from being illegally rewritten, and prevents illegal games to be caused by the fraud. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: an update means for updating a value of a control variable; a control variable storage means 170 which stores the updated control variable value; an update determination means 190 which determines whether the value of the control variable has been updated through the update processing, according to the value of the previously updated control variable; and a consistency determination means 230 that compares update timing information which determines whether the control variable can be updated for each of the plurality of timings concerning the game development with a determination result as to whether the control variable has been updated or not to determine the consistency between the update of the control variable and the timing.
