<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying machine capable of reducing the running cost. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a washing and drying machine 1 which dries laundry by circulating air in a rotary tub 30 via a circulation path 51 by use of driving a blower fan 52. The washing and drying machine is configured to: drive a heater 53 with an inlet port 51c and an exhaust port 51d being opened for a warm air drying period Ta when the amount of laundry is less than a prescribed amount and the amount of chemical fibers contained in the laundry is more than a prescribed amount; and stop the heater 53 with the inlet port 51c and the exhaust port 51d being opened for a drying period Tb at normal temperature subsequent to the warm air drying period Ta. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
