<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common operation rod for indirect live-line work having a fixing part capable of reliably fixing a tip tool for indirect live-line work by tightening the tip tool without causing the fixing part to displace toward the connection portion side even when the tool for indirect live-line work is rotated being connected to the connection portion, which allows a worker to operate the tool for indirect live-line work from a remote position. <P>SOLUTION: A common operation rod 1 comprises: a rod member 2; and a fixing part 4 for locking a tip tool 5 and a connection portion 3 connectable with the tip tool 5. The fixing part 4 includes a core portion 41 where an inclined portion 412 and an inclined portion 413 are connected to each other forming an abacus bead shape and a slide member 42 that slides along an axial direction of the core portion 41 to come into contact with the tip tool 5. The slide member 42 has a press portion 422 including plural contact portions 422a that come into contact with a side face of the core portion 41. Each of the contact portions 422a of the press portion 422 presses the core portion 41 in a diameter direction of the core portion 41.
