<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic proofreading method and an electronic proofreading system which are capable of easily recognizing the entire progress of proofreading work even in the case that process of the proofreading work is complicated. <P>SOLUTION: At least one user to whom approval authority is given is designated for each of defined proofreading phases (first to third phases).
