COLLISION RISK PREDICTION DEVICE FOR VEHICLE AND COLLISION RISK PREDICTION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision risk prediction device for vehicle for detecting information on an object which is present at the dead corner of a driver and which is likely to collide with the driver's vehicle.

SOLUTION: The collision risk prediction device for vehicle includes: a millimeter wave imaging part for picking up and outputting an image with an electromagnetic wave with wavelength called millimeter wave and sub-millimeter wave; a visible light imaging part for picking up and outputting an image with an electromagnetic wave with wavelength called ultraviolet rays, visible rays and near infrared rays; a first detection part for detecting a predetermined object by image processing from the output image of the millimeter wave imaging part; a risk prediction part for outputting the detection result of the predetermined object detected by the first detection part, and for generating the voice signal of a warning sound on the predetermined object; and an image synthesis part for generating a synthetic image in which the output image of the predetermined object detected by the first detection part is superimposed on the output image of the visible light imaging part.
