The fully automatic coffee machine has a rotationally symmetric brewing chamber (1) for receiving and brewing a brewing material. A lid-like top portion (4) and a cup-shaped brewing chamber (5) are mounted rotatably about axis of rotation. A motor (3) is provided to drive the brewing chamber in a rotary motion about axis of rotation. A drive (30) is provided for rotation of the opened brewing chamber. An independent claim is included for a preparation method of coffee in brewing chamber.
