PURPOSE: A method and a device for applying a Lamda closed loop control are provided to improve the Lamda closed loop control and to optimize the method in order to improve a diagnosis. CONSTITUTION: A method for applying a Lamda closed loop control is as follows. The Lamda closed loop control of an internal combustion engine(10) is applied to the inside of an exhaust gas duct of the internal combustion engine by using an exhaust gas probe(15) arranged in a part of an exhaust gas monitoring system.
