A trawler comprises a pulley 6 positioned above the lifting ramp so that a cod-end of a trawl 3 can be hauled in through the intermediary of a line 4. The line 4 is joined at one end to a strap 5 which encircles the lower part of the trawl and at the other end to a winch 2 so that the cod-end may be hauled in until the strap 5 reaches the pulley 6. A tackle 7 is then joined to the strap 5 and the cod-end moved to the first hold hatch. |
